I am a life coach and spiritual director that offers services to encourage self-expression, mental health, and personal growth. My goal is to create safe spaces where kindness, curiosity, and humility guide people to experience their true self.

Whether you are feeling stuck in a relationship, your job or just life — coaching may help. I will work with you to understand where you are feeling stuck and, together, how to remove those barriers so you can keep moving forward. Instead of providing you with a course of action to follow based on my experience, I ask you the kind of questions that will get you thinking deeply about the issue(s) at hand. As we explore options together I also guide you towards the decision(s) you believe you need to make and act on. In short, coaching focuses on taking you from point A to point B and equipping you with tools to better understand yourself and others.

Although many people seek spiritual direction during times of doubt and crisis - it is not necessary to have specific questions or problems in order to seek spiritual direction - only a desire to experience more of the Divine in everyday life. Spiritual direction is a form of soul care that offers a contemplative space - a place for honest reflection and listening. It is an unhurried time which may include conversation, silence, readings, and prayers. In spiritual direction the focus is on cultivating a deeper awareness of the Divine in everyday life and integrating our sacred experiences into the entirety of our lives.

Grief is not a one-time, one size fits all experience. It is something that we as human beings will move through many times over a lifetime. Grief stays with us, changes us, and changes how we experience the world. This is where Grief Coaching can be helpful. It is one-on-one support around YOUR grief experience. Together, we hold and observe your experience of loss, giving you permission to feel the full depth of your emotions. We examine how grief has impacted your life and your way of being. And together, we delve into the changes that you would like to make, in a way that feels good to your heart.

Whether you are young and want to proactively create your end of life plan, whether you are navigating your own diagnosis, or if you have a loved one that is dying and you need a safe and neutral space to process, I am here for you. Through end of life planning we will together seek to answer the question “What must I do to be at peace with myself so that I may die gracefully?” The answer to that question is as different as every person. End of life planning is the missing link in our care system, helping us honor death as an integral and sacred part of life, supports individuals and families throughout the dying process and beyond.
As an ordained minister with over 15+ years of experience serving within the local church I am available to conduct funerals, weddings, administer the sacraments, and facilitate other important spiritual milestones.
* Please note: I am not a therapist nor a mental health/medical provider. I cannot diagnose illness, treat mental disorders or prescribe medication. My services should never replace the care of your primary medical provider. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or call 911 immediately. If you are considering suicide or have a plan to take your life, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifelineat 1-800-273-8255.
Counseling and coaching are two services that have helped many individuals overcome challenges and live more authentic and whole-hearted lives. There is a great deal of overlap between the two which can cause some confusion for those who are seeking out support.
For the most part, coaching is present and future focused. A coach will provide tools and guidance to pinpoint what is wrong, find a solution, set goals, and move towards achieving them.
Both coaching and counseling provide support to overcome challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and embrace positive life changes while looking within but the approach and process to achieve them is usually where the difference lies.
One of the most important differences to note between counselors and coaches is that counselors are trained to provide therapy through years of education and licensure for those facing challenges related to mental health while coaches are not.
As a coach my services do not supplement or supersede the relationship and instruction of your medical caretakers and licensed mental health professionals. Always seek the advice of a qualified medical professional for any medical conditions or disorders.
Depending on the client sessions can be either in person or online. They both are just as effective and sometimes people even say that the video conference works better for them. I use Zoom but have worked over Skype as well and can usually accommodate other platforms if necessary. Local sessions are in Portsmouth, NH.
I do 50 minute sessions and the normal fee is $125. However, I provide services on a sliding scale, as my hope is to serve even if finances are a concern. Fees can be remitted in person or on Venmo where I can be found as @archerra.
Studies have shown that 90% of the change that you’ll experience is due to the relationship you build with your coach. SO, I do a free 30min session with everyone to make sure you dig me and I dig you. ;) Our time will be a combination of compassionate listening and thoughtful questions. We will also co-create “assignments” to help you explore the changes you would like to make.
Step 1: Schedule a Free Call
Let’s connect and see if working together makes sense for you.
Step 2: Questionnaire
Complete a short questionnaire before our session to provide the context we need to best support you.
Step 3: Coaching Session
All you need to do is show up! We’ll have fun and do the work together. After our initial session, we will agree on the length of our coaching relationship that will best support you to reach your goals.
Life happens so if you need to cancel an appointment, I ask you do so with AT LEAST a 24-hour notice so I can offer that space to other clients who need an appointment that week. Should you forget and/or do not provide 24-hours notice, other clients miss out on an opportunity to be seen, which totally stinks. Anyone canceling an appointment with less than a 24-hour notice will be charged the full session fee.
